What are the benefits?

Four times a year you will receive the best poodle magazine in the entire Benelux: the Poedelvaria.
It includes (among other subjects):
- updates from board members
- beautiful photography
- reports from club-organized events
- contributions from veterinarians on health issues—plus tips on preventio
- a story from our four-legged reporter: Jussi

If you're looking to offer an adult poodle a cosy nest, you can post a profile on our website for free. Normally this costs €15 per year

Looking for a poodle puppy? You can join our interest list (it's very long - by the way).
As a member, you’ll be placed in the “priority queue,” meaning you’re notified two days earlier than non-members about expected or newborn litters.
This also applies to available adult poodles needing rehoming.

You can use our poodle-care service:
- for a day (e.g., museum visit or wedding), you can leave your dog with another NPC member
- for weekends or longer trips (e.g., city breaks, flights), NPC members will look after your darling(s)
- if you work only one or two days at the office, you can arrange poodle-care for the remaining days

If you own a grooming salon and specialize in poodles, you can place your profile on our website.
Annual costs are less than the price of one full grooming session.

If you're a poodle breeder registered with the Raad van Beheer (Dutch Kennel Council), you can sign up as an affiliated breeder.

Thinking about breeding poodles?
As a member, you can take top-level courses at a discounted rate and receive coaching on all aspects of breeding.
If you have the space and passion to raise poodle puppies, a wonderful challenge awaits.
The demand for purebred, healthy poodle puppies is enormous. You won’t need to advertise. The club does that for you.
Conclusion:
Becoming a member is absolutely worth it. You’ll be in good company with nearly a thousand other poodle enthusiasts.

** only applies to the contribution for a full year for the independent (principal) member.
Direct debit (auotmatische incasso) is not available for members living outside the Netherlands.
Special rates for late enrollment:
- after July 1: €20 for the current year + registration fee + next year’s fee. You’ll receive past magazines digitally
- after December 1: you only pay registration fee + next year’s fee. You’ll receive the final magazine of the year digitally.
Membership fees are reviewed annually by the members' meeting based on the board’s proposal.
Independent Member or Family Member?
When filling out the online form, you’ll choose between:
Independent Member
Choose this if no one at your address is a paying NPC member.
You’ll be registered as the main member and asked for your bank details.
If you live abroad, a surcharge applies for shipping the club magazine.
Family Member
Choose this if someone at your address is already a paying member.
The fee will be deducted from the main member’s bank account.
Membership Conditions
To become a member, you declare that you:
- are of legal age
- will not use your membership for financial gain
- are familiar with and respect the club’s statutes and regulations
- agree to have your personal data stored in the club’s database
Additional Conditions for Breeders
Unfortunately, some breeders joined only to advertise a litter and then quickly canceled their membership.
We expect breeders to aim for multiple litters and value long-term membership.
If you register a mating or birth, you’ll be asked to pay for two additional years of membership before your submission is processed.
So breeders must remain members for at least three years.
If you also want your kennel listed on our website, additional fees apply (see “Affiliated Breeder Registration”).".
Start Date & Minimum Duration
Minimum membership duration is one year, ending December 31.
For breeders who submit mating reports, the minimum is three years.
Cancellation must be submitted in writing or by email before December 1.
If canceled after December 1, you’ll owe the next year’s fee and your membership ends December 31 of the following year.
If no cancellation is received, membership is automatically renewed.
Every cancellation will be confirmed and will only then become effective!
How fees can be paid
After registering for membership, you'll receive a payment request. The amount depends on the start date, your direct debit option, and whether you live in the Netherlands or abroad. This amount includes the one-time registration fee (€5).

* You can register a family member without additional registration cost.
After July 1st, you will immediately pay the membership fee for the following year.
Membership and its associated benefits will only take effect once the membership fee has been paid.
Cancellation
Membership cancellation must be submitted in writing or by email and received by the association no later than November 30th of the current year.

Membership fees already paid will never be refunded, except in the event of cancellation during the statutory cancellation period.
Direct debit (automatische incasso)
If you choose direct debit, by providing the required information online - until cancellation or termination of membership - you authorize the NPC in Rotterdam to debit the amounts due as annual membership fees from the specified bank account.
If, after a direct debit payment has been made - as indicated above - you do not agree to the debit, you can have the amount reversed within 30 days of the debit. To do so, you must contact the bank where your account is held.
Online registration
Complete the questionnaire below and click SUBMIT at the end.
Please ensure you provide a correct email address.
You'll receive a copy of the answers you provided by email immediately.
A little later, you'll receive a copy of your registration by email, which will also be sent to the treasurer. They will confirm receipt. You'll also receive a payment request, allowing you to quickly and accurately pay the amount due.
Important!
Receiving the (digital) registration form from the treasurer is equivalent to signing a form.
You have a statutory right to cancel the registration within fourteen days.
Please note!
Do not use the "Remarks" to indicate that you are looking for (p.e.) a black toy puppy. The treasurer will not act on this information.
